ATLAS H40L for head forging on cutting punches and ejector pins with diameters from 3 to 20 mm (0.1181" to 0.7874"), lengths up to 400 mm (15.748") and forging force up to 400 kN (44 short tons).
The blanks are placed into the loading station once by hand. From there the blanks are automatically separated and inserted into the mold by the ejector. This process ejects the forged punch out of the mold and collects it in a container inside the forging machine. When the next pin is positioned the process automatically starts again.
ATLAS MPA 6 for head forging on cutting punches and ejector pins with diameters from 0.5 to 5 mm (0.0197" to 0.1969"), lengths up to 400 mm (15.748") and forging force up to 60 kN (6.6 short tons).
The blanks are inserted into the mold by hand. By operating the two-hand safety buttons the slider with the mold moves into the forging chamber. The protective door closes automatically and the head forging process is carried out. The slider moves back to the start position and the cutting punch or ejector pin gets removed from the mold by hand.
